Hooksett Community Leaders Awards for 2017 Accomplishments

The Hooksett Kiwanis Foundation is pleased to announce the 9th annual Hooksett Community Leaders Awards program.  We invite you to nominate and honor a business and/or individual who has made a difference in the Hooksett community during the 2017 calendar year. The awards program contains seven categories listed below...

Nomination categories:

  • Small Business of the Year (less than 50 employees).
  • Large Business of the Year (50 or more employees).
  • Hooksett Middle School Educator of the Year (grades 6-8)
  • Hooksett Elementary Educator of the Year (grades K-5)
  • Hooksett Municipal Employee of the Year
  • Hooksett Youth Volunteer of the Year
  • Hooksett Adult Volunteer of the Year

Hooksett Community Leaders Awardees Selected - February 2018

An independent group of judges has selected the winners of the Hooksett Community Leaders Awards. The following businesses and individuals will be honored at the 9th Annual Community Leaders Awards banquet on April 3 in the Dining Center at Southern NH University. The event is sponsored and hosted by Hooksett Kiwanis. The award recipients are as follows...

  • Large Business of the Year: Merchants Automotive Group, 1278 Hooksett Rd.
  • Small Business of the Year: Merrimack County Savings Bank, 360 Londonderry Turnpike.
  • Hooksett Middle School Educator of the Year: Bernadette Olsen, family and consumer science teacher at Cawley Middle School
  • Hooksett Elementary Educator of the Year: Shannon Baldoumas, first grade teacher at Underhill School
  • Hooksett Municipal Employee of the Year: Donna Fitzpatrick, Administrative Services Coordinator
  • Hooksett Youth Volunteer of the Year: Katelyn Howe, senior at Manchester Central High School.
  • Hooksett Adult Volunteer of the Year: Tammy Hooker
  • Community Impact Award, Girl Scout Troop 10085
